Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Relay ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free, paid, and enterprise accounts.
2. Description of Service
Relay is a collaborative AI workspace that allows users to save, organize, synthesize, and share outputs from AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. The Service includes a web application, browser extension, and API integrations. Features vary by subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use Relay. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Relay.
4. Subscription and Payments
Relay offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@relay-work.com within 7 days of a charge for refund requests. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
5. Free Plan Limitations
Free plan users are limited to 5 Synthesizes per month and 1 project. After reaching the Synthesize limit, free users will have read-only access to their projects until the next billing cycle or until they upgrade. Top-up packs are available for purchase to extend usage without upgrading.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Relay to store, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service. You agree not to use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms. You agree not to reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you save to Relay. By using the Service, you grant Relay a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you save, including ensuring you have the right to save and share AI-generated outputs in accordance with the terms of the AI providers you use.
8. Intellectual Property
Relay and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Relay and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our explicit written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting hello@relay-work.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
